The Centre for Creative Economy and Cultural Studies (CCECS) at Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), in collaboration with the National Association of Akwa Ibom State Students (NAAKISS) AKSU Chapter, is thrilled to announce the upcoming AKSU Cultural Week 2026.
Centered on the theme “The Orange Architecture — Heritage, Innovation, Enterprise,” this two-day cultural festival aims to celebrate rich traditions while empowering creative talents across the region.

Event Highlights & Special Features
Attendees can look forward to a vibrant display of cultural arts, traditional crafts, and live performances, including:
- Cultural Exhibitions & Crafts: Woodwork, traditional crafting, and artistic displays.
- Traditional Performances: Displays featuring Ekpo, Nnabo, Abang, Uta, Ekpe, and many other cultural dance troupes and masquerades.
